English: Snake In The Grass This Adder was basking in the spring sunshine in the lea of the sea wall in Maydays Marsh on Mersea Island. It was very sluggish and didnt have the energy to escape my long lens. I have never seen an Adder in the wild before that didnt vanish into the undergrowth in an instant. I felt really quite privileged. |
